Livzym · Manufacturing platform
Capabilities
An integrated precision fermentation facility: 200 m³ of installed vessel capacity, automated downstream processing and in-house spray drying, all under one roof.
Livzym’s integrated manufacturing facility supports the development and commercial production of enzymes, alternative proteins and postbiotics through precision fermentation. Our platform includes a total installed vessel capacity of 200 m³. Automated downstream processing, diverse filtration and separation technologies, and in-house pilot- and commercial-scale spray drying enable integrated production.
Upstream
Our pilot-to-production fermentation platform spans 30 L to 50,000 L and is designed to reproduce key process conditions across scales. This supports systematic scale-up studies, reliable process transfer, and the development of robust, scalable processes for efficient commercial manufacturing.
Details
- Pilot bioreactors: 30 and 300 L stainless steel, stirred fermenters.
- Production bioreactors: 1 × 30 m³, 3 × 20 m³ and 2 × 50 m³ stainless steel, stirred fermenters.
- Seed fermenters and buffer tanks in a range of capacities.
- High-power agitation systems for intensive mixing.
- Measurement of dissolved oxygen, pH, temperature, pressure, exit-gas carbon dioxide and oxygen, mass flow and additional process parameters.
